Tech enthusiasts: get ready for Break the Code 2

Namecheap has teamed up once again with .TECH domain registry Radix for the return of Break the Code.

Coders, developers, and tech enthusiasts across the globe are invited to solve a series of mind-boggling tech-based puzzles for a chance to win prizes.

Get ready to be transported back to the year when US college student Shawn Fanning created Napster, we learned the first rule of Fight Club, and Britney Spears released her album ‘…Baby One More Time.’

The year is 1999, and Break the Code 2 features puzzles inspired by Microsoft’s Windows 98 operating system (OS). Cowabunga!

The challenge

You have been recruited by CARE.tech, which specializes in scientific research to better the world, dropped in the middle of a high-stakes situation in which an (allegedly) anarchist group has hacked into some satellites. Moving forward through the game you must consider the consequences your actions will have on the world order.

The game features four chapters, each with multiple missions (ciphers), and you have until April 15 to complete the missions.
